Cheese and Wine
Gemini from New York, New York on 11/03/05

One of my favorite snacks is cheese and wine. Here are my favorite cheese and wine combinations. My cheeses are Cheddars, Brie, Camembert, Gouda, havarti, and blue. For cheddars and Bries, choose a full-bodied red like a Pinot Noir or a Shiraz. For Camembert, go with a Pinot Noir or Beaujolais. Gouda is kind of a nut-flavored cheese that goes well with Beaujolais, Bordeaux, or even ice wine's creaminess works well with something lighter.
Try a Pinot Blanc or Gamay here. For blue cheeses, you're safe with sweet wines, red or white.  SEE our list of the most common wines.
